The meaning of Integrator I want to talk about is the one that I learned in Six Simple Rules. It refers to a specific role that is often an informal source of power in organisations.
The integrator is a person who, given the power to act, will drive new connections and value in the business. They are usually the ones who have unique insights that another group can act on.
As a leader or manager, your job is to empower and co-ordinate the integrators so that they can cooperate directly with other groups and on shared projects.
